Our photographs are carefully chosen to inspire Your Personal Note. From our collection, you will find a photo to accent your message whether the occasion is a most special anniversary or an “I’m thinking about you” day.

Robins are driven out of the hills by snowfall in late January.
They gather in flocks and fly west to their favorite winter hangout on the Pacific coast. The Robin vacation of coice is a nice bird tree within sight of a well endowed berry tree. Still attached to the trees, those tenatious berries have been ripe long enough for the sugary pulp to be slightly fermented. I hate to say this, but Robins love their fermented berries.

For many years, we have watched Robins zoom from bird tree to berry tree and back again. When the party gets a little boisterous, the flock will fly down onto our grassy yard and pull up worms simply for the exercise. The worms are not at all supportive of these awful antics and do their best to preserve their numbers. Once a feisty worm yanked a Robin’s chin right down to the ground. It was a sight to behold.

If you plan a trip to the coast, come in late January when Robins are driven out of the hills by snowfall. They always give us hope for spring.
